The Freedom Walk supports our love local partner, Love Never Fails in Oakland. Save the date of September 21st to share in this experience with us. We will gather at Fremont High School in Oakland, walk one mile for the freedom and flourishing of those entangled in a life of trafficking. Alameda County, in the heart of the Bay Area, is the third highest “hot spot” for human trafficking in the United States.
The Freedom Walk is designed in part to raise awareness to this specific injustice in our community while also providing participants with practical ways they can be a part of the solution. If able, participants will pay at least a $25 dollar entry fee for the Freedom Walk. Participants will receive a t-shirt, lunch and ice cream. There will also be a special raffle. Every dollar brought in through the event will then be donated to support the fight against this injustice through the ongoing efforts of Love Never Fails.
Volunteers are needed to help set up, help with registration, lunch service and more. Sign up to be part of the team making this event possible!
