Eastown Kids exists to engage kids and empower parents as they navigate all that life brings.
Engaging Kids - Every Sunday, Eastown Kids provides a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for babies, preschoolers, and elementary students. Kids explore the excitement and adventure of following Jesus in ways designed for their age, helping them grow in faith, curiosity, and confidence—knowing they are loved and made for impact.
Eastown
We commit to making Sunday mornings one of the best hours of your child’s week, something they look forward to being part of. As they grow, they will enjoy music, videos, skits, characters, stories, and hands-on activities all designed to help them discover God and His deep love for them.
We believe meaningful relationships, memorable experiences, and fun all help point to that.

Nursery
Our 4 weeks - 2.5 years
We know how precious these early years are, and we’re here to partner with you, allowing parents to enjoy the service while their child is lovingly cared for. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where babies can experience age-appropriate fun, build connections with other little ones, and enjoy worship music.
Pre-K
2.5 year - 5 years
The preschool stage is all about discovering new things in life. Each week, your preschooler will explore foundational truths about how God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever through age-appropriate Bible stories, music, play, and hands-on activities.
Elementary
Kindergarten to 5th Graders
The elementary years are when kids begin to discover who they are and how God has uniquely made them. Each week, your child will explore what it means to be a part of God’s story through exciting games, engaging teachings, and meaningful small group discussions – all while having the most fun of their week!
Upcoming Events
Child Dedication
Every year, we set aside a special moment in our service for Child Dedication—a time for parents to publicly commit to raising their children to know the love of Jesus and the incredible life He has planned for them. It’s also an opportunity for our church family to stand with you, praying for and supporting your family as you take this meaningful step.
Kids Faith Class
Is your child interested in baptism? Kid Faith is the perfect next step! This fun, hands-on class is designed for kids and their parent or guardian to experience together. Kids will discover what it means to follow Jesus in a way they can truly understand and explore the meaning of baptism before taking that big step.
We ask that kids in 5th grade and under complete the Kid Faith class before being baptized. It is a privilege to walk alongside you and your child in this exciting part of their faith journey!
We also seek to
empower parents.
It is our desire to partner with you as you lead your child in discovering the incredible love that God has for them.
The Parent Cue App is one of the best resources we encourage for parents. The app cues you to have simple and meaningful faith-moments with your kid, elevating important topics of conversation, that will fit seamlessly into the daily rhythms of your life. Download it now!
"Eastown Kids is what first introduced my family to Eastown Church. It’s a warm, safe and inviting space for kids to feel seen and invited to learn about how fun it can be to love Jesus and have him in your life.

How your kids can Love Local
We believe that building relationships with our neighbors matters even at the youngest of ages. These little acts of kindness can help cultivate a heart in your kids for the community around them at an early age.
-
Invite neighborhood kids over for some summer fun—think chalk art, popsicles, crafts, water balloons, or a DIY obstacle course. It's a great way to build friendships and create memories that matter.
-
Whip up your favorite cookies or muffins and deliver them to a neighbor with a kind note. It's a sweet way to share love—literally!
-
Pick or purchase a small bouquet and drop it on someone’s doorstep just because. Bonus points for including a handwritten card or a “You Are Loved” tag!
-
Encourage your kids to draw a picture, write a letter, or make a card for someone who might need encouragement—a senior, someone sick, or a neighbor who lives alone.
-
On your next grocery run, let your kids pick out items to fill a care bag for a family in need or someone who's going through a hard time. You can include snacks, small toiletries, or notes of encouragement
-
Visit or create a Little Free Library! Let your kids pick books to donate and leave encouraging notes inside for the next reader.
-
If you have a pet, take it along for a visit to an elderly neighbor (if they’re okay with it!). Animals bring joy, and kids love sharing that joy with others.
-
Look for simple ways to serve: bringing in a neighbor’s trash bins, watering someone's plants while they’re away, or picking up litter at a local park.
Build The Village
We've all heard the saying "it takes a village." We believe that whole heartedly here at Eastown. One of the greatest impacts we have in the next generation comes when a team of leaders actively engage with kids and partner with parents.
Through the KIDS team, we desire to create a village that supports parents as they guide their children in an everyday faith and ensures each kid is known and experiences the love of Jesus.
We’re inviting YOU to be a part of that! If you are interested in shadowing our KIDS team and joining the village, tap the link below.
Home Resources
Feelings Wheel: Sometimes it’s hard to identify what you are feeling. Maybe you’re mad, but you’re also afraid. Maybe you’re happy, but feel a little guilty. The Feelings Wheel is a great resource to print out and stick on the fridge, and the next time your kid or teen needs a little help identifying what they feel, use it to help put words to the emotions.
Work Kids Can Do: Want to prepare your kids for their future? Then give them something to do now that will let them feel a part of your house. Chores are a great way to introduce your kids to responsibility, show them what it means to be a part of a family, and prepare them for the future. Here’s a guide to some phase-appropriate tasks that kids of different ages can do. There is also a blank chore chart you can fill out for your kid or teen to let them know you see how hard they are working.
Kindness Family Challenge: The power of a kind word or deed is amazing, and it feels really great to be the recipient and the giver. The Kindness Family Challenge was created just for that—to give your family the opportunity to spread positivity and joy around your community and in your home together in one day (or one morning, one afternoon, one evening) or even all month long!
